ABOUT THE DEVOUCOUX KOLIBRI MARTINGALE AND BREASTPLATE
Made from top quality French leather the Kolibri has created an ongoing ‘trend’ of imitation breastplates - worn by top riders including Pippa Funnell – with it’s five point adjustment system and recognisable sheepskin protection pads. Whilst impersonation is a great form of flattery – the level of workmanship invested in the Devoucoux Kolibri far outweighs cheaper versions, and the performance when in use is what shows the difference!
Innovative and stylish, the five adjustment points ensure the Kolibri can be fitted perfectly – as well as helping to ensure optimum safety. Sliding elastic harnesses provide the horse with complete freedom of movement through the shoulder. Two padded breastplates ensure ultimate comfort for the horse, whilst the addition of the running martingale makes it a vital piece of equipment for competition. Available in two versions, the well known ‘Original’ Kolibri, and the newer ‘Show jumping’ version, in hazel, mahogany or black.
Every product made in the Devoucoux workshop is hand crafted by individuals with the passion and enthusiasm to create beautiful pieces of equipment – whether they be saddles, or accessories.
