Quite difficult to respond to this Q, in general most peeps are happy with the bit they have, if not then the Q is, what do they want or need.
The function of the bit is to provide the rider with control and thus balance and direct the horse.
Most riders are concerned with horse comfort, so the bit should fit nicely in the mouth.
Most riders like to see salivation, this may well be encouraged by metallic oxides and not by stainless.
some horses need special bits for control if very strong, though stronger and stronger bits may not work, and may have the opposite effect.
some need special fits due to mouth conformation
some need very mild bits because they are so sensitive.
some peeps might think £100 is OK to spend, but some others consider it a mega buy,
there is no guarantee it will have desired effect
it might be the key to your horse
it might not be
can I ask you why you need a new bit
PS are you sure they cost £100, I see some about half that price.

Is the Sprenger KK Ultra as good as they say it is? Does it make a difference? Is it worth the money? Over £100 for a bit makes me gasp! Anyone got any experience of this bit please.....
